San Antonio, TX. – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a collision on Wednesday evening in San Antonio.
According to the San Antonio Fire Department, the accident happened around 8:30 p.m. on Guilbeau Road at Tezel Road.
A Volkswagen “abruptly changed lanes” and clipped a Kia in front. The driver of the Kia lost control veered into the eastbound lanes and collided head-on with the Kia.
The driver of the Kia, a 19-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the Volkswagen, a 37-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
