The teen and her mother were flown to area trauma centers in critical condition

Woodville, TX. – A teenage girl and her mother were critically injured in a collision that happened on Thursday evening in Woodville.
According to Woodville police, the accident happened around 5 p.m. on Highway 69.
An SUV and a small passenger car occupied by a 16-year-old girl and her mother collided head-on in unclear circumstances. A secondary collision involving two other cars happened in the area.
The teen and her mother were flown to area trauma centers in critical condition.
Two people were injured in the secondary accident.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
