The driver of the Ford pickup truck was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition
Denton County, TX. – At least one person was killed in a collision on Friday afternoon in Denton County.
According to the Lake Dallas Police Department, the accident happened around 3 p.m. in the 600 block of North Stemmons Freeway Service Road near W. Swisher Road.
A gray Ford pickup truck was traveling northbound on the Service Road and was about to make a U-turn when it collided with a white Mercedes traveling westbound on W. Swisher Road.
The driver of the Mercedes was killed in the accident.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
