Dallas, TX – One person is dead and two other people are hospitalized following a two-vehicle traffic collision that occurred on Interstate 45 in southern Dallas County, according to a police report.
The deadly accident happened at about 11:30 p.m. on April 15 along Interstate 45 near the C.F. Hawn Freeway.
Authorities said two vehicles collided and one of them overturned, trapping a woman. The woman was pulled from the overturned vehicle and was transported to the hospital where she died.
The name of the deceased woman has not been released.
Two adults, a male and a female, in the other vehicle were also transported to the hospital and are expected to recover.
Investigators say the overturned vehicle had mechanical issues leading to the wreck.
The incident remains under investigation.
