One person killed in collision on Interstate 35W near Ripy Street in Fort Worth

Fort Worth, TX. – A driver dies after crashing into a police car at the scene of another collision on Saturday night in Fort Worth.
According to the police, the deadly collision happened around 11:30 p.m. on Interstate 35W near Ripy Street.
A police patrol vehicle was parked in the northbound lanes of the Freeway to control traffic after another accident when another vehicle crashed into the patrol vehicle from behind.
The driver of that vehicle died at the scene.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office will release the identity of the person who died after the notification of the next of kin.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
