A car went through the gas pumps after the collision and came to a stop at the front of the Little Abilene convenience store

Abilene, TX. – Two people were injured in a collision that sent a car crashing into a gas pump on Sunday afternoon in Abilene.
According to the police, the accident happened around 2:50 p.m. near the intersection of Ambler Avenue and Burger Street.
Two vehicles reportedly collided in the area in unclear circumstances.
A car went through the gas pumps and came to a stop at the front of the Little Abilene convenience store.
Both the vehicle and a nearby gas pump briefly caught fire, but was quickly extinguished.
Two people were transported to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
