The bus driver and one bus passenger were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries

Austin, TX. – Five people were injured in a collision involving a Capital Metro bus on Thursday morning.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the accident happened around 11 a.m. at the intersection of East 54th and Duval streets.
Police were pursuing suspects in a stolen Ford F-250 when the driver crashed into a CapMetro bus.
The impact of the collision caused the bus to collide with another vehicle, which then hit a telephone pole.
The bus driver and one bus passenger were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
The remaining bus passengers and the driver of the other vehicle declined treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
