The driver and his front-seat passenger were killed in the accident

Parker County, TX. – Two people were killed in a car accident that left two others injured near Weatherford in Parker County on Monday morning.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal collision happened around 6:10 a.m. on FM 51, south of Veal Station Road.
24-year-old Timothy Lee Herrera Jr. was driving a 2020 silver Honda Accord northbound on the highway when he lost control at a curve and drifted into the southbound lanes, where it hit a silver 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander driven by a 35-year-old woman.
Timothy and his front-seat passenger, identified as 22-year-old Preston Mathis Duffy, were killed in the accident.
The driver of the Outlander and the 19-year-old man in the rear passenger seat of the Accord were seriously injured and were taken to Harris Health Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth in critical condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
