1-Year-Old Baby Girl Killed in Houston Car Crash on North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45)
Houston, Texas (May 8, 2019) – A 1-year-old baby girl was killed Sunday afternoon in a traffic accident in Houston, according to a local news source.
The tragic crash happened at around 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 5 in the 11500 block of North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45).
Authorities said an unidentified woman was driving her blue Honda CR-V northbound on North Interstate Highway 45 when she may develop a medical episode and crossed several lanes of traffic and crashed into a tan Toyota Prius that was disabled and parked on the right-hand shoulder.
The baby, who was in a rear car seat in the Toyota, was rushed to a hospital with major injuries where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
