San Antonio, TX – Two SAPD police officers and a 46-year-old man were injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision at a San Antonio intersection, according to the police.
The collision happened at about 4:00 p.m. on November 26 at W. Hutchins Place and Commercial Avenue near Harlandale.
Police said the man was driving through the intersection on a green light when he was struck by an SAPD patrol vehicle.
The force of the impact pushed both vehicles off the roadway and into a private parking lot.
The airbag deployed in the patrol vehicle, causing injuries to both officers. They were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The man sustained minor injuries in the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
