Lubbock, TX – The man who was killed in a pedestrian accident Monday evening in Lubbock has been identified as Morton Saenz, 43, according to the police.
The deadly accident was reported around 6:55 p.m. on December 22 in the 5600 block of Spur 327.
Police said 29-year-old Collin Houghton was driving a passenger car that was disabled on the side of the roadway. Saenz was driving a pickup truck and tried to help Houghton move his vehicle out of the traffic lane.
As Saenz was hooking up his vehicle to Houghton’s car, he and the car were hit by another vehicle.
Saenz was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
