1 Killed in Garland Accident at Garland Avenue and Stratford Drive
Garland, TX. – An 18-year-old was killed in a car accident on Friday night in Garland.
According to the Garland Police Department, the accident happened around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of Garland Avenue and Stratford Drive.
A vehicle was traveling east on Stratford Drive when it collided with a vehicle heading south on Garland Avenue.
An 18-year-old occupant of one of the cars was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Five other people – aged between 16 and 22 – were taken to the hospital.
Detectives are working to determine the cause of the crash and whether impairment was a factor.
