3 People Killed in Greenville Wrong-Way Collision on I-30
Hunt County, TX – Three people were killed after a wrong-way driver collided with another vehicle on Interstate 30 in Greenville Saturday night, according to Texas DPS.
The deadly collision happened at approximately 9:15 p.m. on November 23 on Interstate 30 eastbound near mile marker 95
Reportedly, Greenville Fire Department, Hunt County EMS, Greenville Police Department, and Texas DPS troopers responded to the scene and located two vehicles involved in a head-on collision.
DPS said three people died in the accident. The identities of the victims were withheld pending next of kin notification.
As per the DPS, I-30 eastbound was closed and traffic was diverted off the highway as responding units worked to clear the roadway.
No other information has been provided. The collision remains under investigation.
