Elderly Man Dies in Vernon 2-Vehicle Accident on College Drive

Wilbarger County, TX – The authorities are investigating a deadly two-vehicle accident that claimed the life of am elderly man in Vernon Thursday afternoon.

The deadly accident happened at about 3 p.m. on September 12 on College Drive in front of the Vernon Junior College campus.

According to the Vernon Police Department, one of the vehicles T-boned the other, causing it to overturn and land on its side.

A 90-year-old man was killed in the accident. The victim’s name was not immediately disclosed.

One other person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

No additional details regarding the collision were provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
