Grant Harris of Howe was riding a dirt bike northeast in the barrow ditch off FM-1753 near Richerson Road when he tried to enter the roadway and crashed into the side of an eastbound big rig.

Howe Teen Grant Harris Dies in Dirt Bike Accident near Denison
Denison, TX – A teenage boy was killed in an accident involving a dirt bike and a semi-truck east of Denison Monday afternoon, according to a police report.
The fatal accident happened just before 3 p.m. near Farm to Market 1753 near Richerson Road.
Troopers said a semi-truck and a dirt bike were involved in the collision.

According to Texas troopers, 15-year-old Grant Harris of Howe was riding a dirt bike northeast in the barrow ditch off FM-1753 near Richerson Road when he tried to enter the roadway and crashed into the side of an eastbound big rig.
Harris was transported to a Plano hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the big rig was not injured in the incident
An investigation to determine the collision is underway.
