Ward County, TX. – Johanna Corrado, 45, of Wink, was killed in a collision that happened on Friday evening in Ward County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the accident happened around 5:39 p.m. at the intersection of State Highway 18 and SL 464.
Corrado was driving a 2014 Acura TSX northbound on SH 18 when he collided with a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe that had been traveling southbound and attempting to turn east into a private driveway.
Police say the driver of the Chevrolet Tahoe, 45-year-old Anthony Hutchins, failed to yield the right of way, resulting in a collision.

Corrado died at the scene.
Hutchins was taken to Ward Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
