Two People Killed in Whitesboro 3-Vehicle Accident on Highway 82

Whitesboro, TX – Two people were killed in a three-vehicle accident in Whitesboro Saturday night, according to the Whitesboro Fire Department.

The deadly accident happened around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, August 31 on eastbound Highway 82.

According to Whitesboro Fire Chief, two people had to be extricated from the wreckage, adding that two patients were pronounced dead at the scene, and two more were airlifted to hospitals.

Two other people were not injured.

The identities of the victims were withheld pending notification to the next of kin.
