Christopher Evan Killed in Robertson County Two-Vehicle Crash on US 79 at Highway 6

Robertson County, Texas (December 2, 2019) – A person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in Robertson County, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash occurred around 3:40 p.m. December 1, on US 79 at Highway 6.

DPS said a pickup truck pulling a trailer was heading westbound on the eastbound overpass when it struck a car driven by Christopher Evan, 47, of Hearne.

Evan was pronounced dead at the scene.

The pickup driver was taken to the hospital with incapacitating injuries. A 68-year-old passenger in the truck was treated and released.

The crash remains under investigation.
