1 Injured in San Angelo Crash on E. Avenue L Bridge at Concho River

San Angelo, Texas (July 31, 2019) – One person was injured in a traffic accident Tuesday morning in San Angelo, according to the police.

The crash occurred at about 9:30 a.m. July 30, on the E. Avenue L Bridge that spans the Concho River.

Police said a driver had exited his disabled pickup truck and was standing in front assessing the truck when a Chrysler 300 rear-ended the truck. The impact pushed the truck forward and hit the truck’s driver, knocking him into the ground.

The victim sustained lacerations to his head.

The driver of the Chrysler and a toddler in the car were uninjured in the crash.
