Euless Man Critically Injured in Box Truck Crash on Airport Freeway in Haltom City

36-Year-Old Euless Man Critically Injured in Haltom City Truck Crash on Airport Freeway

Haltom City, Texas (July 1, 2020) – A 36-year-old Euless man was critically injured in a rear-end collision Wednesday morning in Haltom City, a local news source reported.

The crash happened just after 8:00 a.m. in the 5100 block of Airport Freeway.

According to police, witnesses said a vehicle was disabled on the right shoulder of the highway, causing traffic to slow down.

As a box truck was slowing down, it was rear-ended by a red Ford Fusion.

The Ford driver was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in critical condition.

Two people in the box truck were uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
