Guy Garrett McMillan Killed, Hannah Marie McKendrick Injured in Coleman County Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 84

Novice, Texas (December 30, 2019) – A man was killed, and a woman was injured in a head-on collision Saturday morning in Coleman County, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 9:35 a.m. December 28, on U.S. Highway 84.

DPS said Guy Garrett McMillan, 32, of Austin, was driving a 2012 Ford Fusion southbound when he was hit head-on by a northbound 2017 Nissan Altima, which lost traction on the wet roadway and crossed into the southbound lane.

McMillan was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Nissan driver, Hannah Marie McKendrick, 22, of Boerne, was taken to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene with incapacitating injuries.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
