Hermenegilda Fuentes Loa ID’d as Woman Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Blanco Road

San Antonio, Texas (January 6, 2020) – The woman who was killed in a pedestrian accident Sunday night in San Antonio has been identified as Hermenegilda Fuentes Loa, 52, according to the police.

The deadly accident took place around 8:00 p.m., January 5, in the 11000 block of Blanco Road.

Police said Loa was attempting to cross the street outside of a crosswalk when she was hit by a 2008 Lincoln MKX. She was wearing dark clothing.

Loa was taken to the hospital where she later died.

The Lincoln driver remained at the scene after the accident.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
