40-Year-Old Jedidiah Ephraim Brown Killed in NE Austin Box Truck Crash on Highway 183 near Rutherford Lane

Austin, Texas (April 30, 2020) – The woman who was killed Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash involving a box truck in Northeast Austin has been identified as 40-year-old Jedidiah Ephraim Brown, according to police.

The fatal crash took place around 12:20 p.m. April 28, in the 2200 block of southbound Highway 183, just east of Rutherford Lane.

Police said a 2008 Nissan Altima had broken down in the outside lane of the highway when it was rear-ended by a 2016 Isuzu box truck.

The Nissan driver, Brown, was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center, where she later died.
