Jill Marie Degon and Joeshannon Leroy White ID’d as Two Injured in Plainview Crash on Interstate 27
Plainview, Texas (July 2, 2019) – Two people were injured Monday after a semi-truck crashed into a building in Plainview, according to a local news source.
The crash happened in the 1300 block of South Interstate 27 Monday, July 1.
As per the report, a semi-truck driven by Joeshannon Leroy White, 50, was traveling on the roadway when it experienced a tire blowout. That caused the semi-truck to slam into the Panhandle Popcorn building.
White was transported to Covenant Plainview hospital with minor injuries. Jill Marie Degon, 50, who was inside the building was taken to UMC in Lubbock via AeroCare with incapacitation injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
