Luis Daniel Hernandez ID’d as Driver Killed in Fort Worth Car Accident at Angle and W. Long Avenues

Fort Worth, Texas (August 15, 2019) – The pickup truck driver who was killed Wednesday morning in a traffic accident that also left two other people seriously injured in Fort Worth has been identified as Luis Daniel Hernandez, 60, of Fort Worth, according to authorities.

The deadly wreck, which was reported at around 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 14, happened at Angle and W. Long Avenues.

Authorities said a pickup and a Trinity Metro bus were involved in the collision.

The driver of the pickup, Hernandez, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other people sustained major injuries.

No further details were immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
