Man and Woman Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Nolan Street; Jamie Garza Arrested

San Antonio, Texas – Two people were injured Thursday night in a hit-and-run accident in Downtown San Antonio, according to the police.

The accident occurred around 10:00 p.m., January 25, in the 100 block of Nolan Street, under the bridge of Interstate 37 South.

Police said a man and a woman were on a sidewalk when a car came around the corner and hit them.

The driver kept going and eventually crashed into a fence. The driver then got out and ran off. Officers located him a few blocks away and was arrested for intoxication assault and collision involving serious bodily injury. He has been identified as Jamie Garza, 34.

The woman was listed in critical condition. The man was treated for minor injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
