2 Killed, 2 Hospitalized in Eastex Freeway Crash in Houston
Houston, Texas (June 12, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle collision that left two people dead Sunday afternoon on the Eastex Freeway.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the deadly crash took place at about 3 p.m. in the 11800 block of Eastex Freeway.
As per the HCSO, witnesses said they saw a Dodge RAM driving at high speeds before crashing into a Kia Soul from behind.
Two people, a man and a woman in their mid-30s, in the Kia, sustained fatal injuries and were declared dead at the scene.

The driver and a passenger of the RAM were transported to a nearby hospital in a fair condition.
No additional details regarding the collision were provided. The crash remains under investigation.
