Two Hospitalized after Westhaven Plane Crash on Canyon Lake

Westhaven, Texas (April 28, 2020) – Two people were injured in a plane crash Tuesday morning in the Westhaven neighborhood, officials said.

The crash happened just after 10:00 a.m. on Canyon Lake near the 100 block of Canteen.

According to witnesses, the plane, a Cessna, crashed into the south side of the lake near boat ramp 6 at the Westhaven dock.

Two people on board swam to shore and were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No other details were provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
