Tamoya Gentry Victim in Fatal Center Pedestrian Accident on Hurst Street

Center, Texas (November 6, 2019) – The pedestrian who was fatally hit by a vehicle last month in Center has been identified as 34-year-old Tamoya Gentry, according to Center police.

The deadly accident took place on October 2, in the 800 block of Hurst Street.

Police said Gentry was attempting to cross the street when she was hit by a northbound gray Ford pickup truck.

Gentry was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ford driver remained at the scene after the accident.

The Center police are conducting the investigation.
