Chris Pulido Seriously Injured in Houston Motorcycle Crash on Chrisman Road near Aldine Bender Road

Houston, Texas (September 24, 2020) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured on Tuesday in a hit-and-run crash in Houston, according to authorities.

The crash happened on Tuesday, September 22, on Chrisman Road near Aldine Bender Road.

Authorities said Chris Pulido was riding his motorcycle and was returning from a nearby store when a Toyota Corolla turned in front of him. He tried to brake, but the road was wet, and he crashed into the side of the car.

The driver of the Toyota fled the scene without rendering aid.

Pulido sustained five badly broken ribs, a broken ankle, a dangled foot, broken teeth, and other injuries. He was taken to HCA Kingwood for treatment.

Pulido’s wife has set up a GoFundMe account to help with the medical expenses.

The authorities are looking for a white or silver Toyota Corolla with damage on the right passenger’s side of the vehicle.

An investigation is underway.

We wish Chris Pulido a quick recovery.

Most motorcycle crashes are caused by negligent drivers who don’t keep a proper lookout or fail to yield the right-of-way. Because motorcyclists are vulnerable, their injuries are usually severe, often suffering from road rash, broken bones, brain injuries, amputations, or spinal cord injuries.
