Jessica Chapa Killed in Houston Two-vehicle Crash on Tidwell Road near Camay Drive

Houston, Texas (December 20, 2020) – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday afternoon in Houston, according to police.

The fatal crash happened at about 3:30 p.m., December 15, in the 6200 block of Tidwell Road near the intersection of Camay Drive. 

Police said a gold pickup truck was traveling northbound and was turning left when it crashed into a westbound green Jeep Wrangler driven by Jessica Chapa, 27.

The force of the impact caused the Jeep to overturn, ejecting Chapa. She was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The pickup truck driver fled the scene after the accident.
