Five Killed in Bardwell Car Crash on Highway 34
Bardwell, Texas (March 25, 2019) – Five people were killed in a head-on crash Sunday morning on a highway near Bardwell, according to the officials.
The fatal crash occurred at about 10:15 a.m. March 24, on Highway 34.
DPS said a westbound pickup truck veered into the eastbound lane, for unknown reasons, and collided head-on with an oncoming car.
A man, two children in the pickup and two men in the car, were killed in the crash. The identities of the victims were not immediately disclosed.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
