Man, Woman Seriously Injured in Harris County Motorcycle Crash on Fallbrook Drive

Harris County, Texas (September 15, 2023) – Two people were seriously injured on Saturday in a hit-and-run crash in NW Harris County, according to the deputies.

The crash happened on September 9, in the 10200 block of Fallbrook Drive.

Deputies said a man and a woman were traveling westbound on a motorcycle when they were struck by a pickup truck. The impact forced the motorcycle off the roadway, and it struck a light pole, ejecting both the man and the woman. The pickup truck fled the scene after the crash.

The victims were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The pickup truck was described as a silver or darker-colored GMC or Chevrolet 1500 pickup.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with any information on the identity of the driver or owner of the pickup is urged to contact local law enforcement.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

There are many different reasons why automobile, pedestrian, 18-wheeler, bicycle, and motorcycle accidents occur, including driver negligence, driver inattention, texting and driving, speeding, fatigue, failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, or private drive, running a red light, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. While the factors listed above are the main causes of most accidents, there may also be other factors involved, which is why it’s important that an investigation be conducted before evidence disappears, especially in cases involving a fatality.  At Joel A. Gordon & Associates, we will act quickly to secure accident scene photos, interview witnesses, obtain police records, and secure other valuable evidence needed to win your case.  Call now for a free consultation.
