Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Gulf Freeway

Houston, Texas (September 12, 2019) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident Wednesday night in Houston, a local news source reported.

The deadly accident happened just after 8:00 p.m. September 11, on the Gulf Freeway near the Lockwood Drive exit.

According to the police, the man was walking across the freeway when he was hit by a car in the HOV lane.

The driver attempted to avoid hitting the man but had nowhere else to move.

The driver stopped and tried to render aid to the victim, but he was unresponsive.

The man was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been disclosed.
