Motorcyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash at Altamesa Blvd and Brookhaven Trail in South Fort Worth

33-Year-Old Man Killed in South Fort Worth Motorcycle Accident at Altamesa Blvd and Brookhaven Trail

Fort Worth, Texas (April 9, 2020) – A 33-year-old Fort Worth man was killed in a motorcycle accident Tuesday afternoon in south Fort Worth, according to authorities.

The crash occurred on April 7, at the intersection of Altamesa Boulevard and Brookhaven Trail.

Authorities said a vehicle was traveling westbound on Altamesa Boulevard when it turned left to go southbound on Brookhaven Trail and collided with a motorcycle that was heading eastbound on Altamesa Boulevard.

The impact caused the motorcyclist to lose control, go off the roadway, hit a bush, and he was ejected.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid.

The motorcyclist was taken to JPS, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating the crash. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Fort Worth PD.
