11-Year-Old Boy Injured in Bicycle Accident on Real Drive in Waco

Woodgate Intermediate School Student Injured in Waco Bicycle Accident on Real Drive near Chapel Road

Waco, Texas (March 6, 2020) – An 11-year-old Woodgate Intermediate School student was injured in a bicycle accident Wednesday morning in Waco, according to officials.

The accident happened around 6:45 a.m. March 4, on Real Drive, near the school at 9400 Chapel Road.

Officials said the boy was riding his bike to school when a car backed up over him.

Firefighters had to rescue the boy from beneath the car. He was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

An investigation is underway.
