Person Killed in East Austin Pedestrian Accident on East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard

Austin, Texas (December 3, 2020) – According to officials, a person was killed Wednesday morning in a pedestrian accident in East Austin.

The deadly accident happened around 6:00 a.m., December 2, in the 3400 block of East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Springdale and Airport Boulevard.

Officials said a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, for unknown reasons, on the roadway.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

No further details regarding the crash were provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
