Patrick Stephens Killed in Killeen Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 195 at Chaparral Road

Killeen, Texas (December 23, 2019) – A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday night in Killeen, according to the police.

The crash occurred around 11:58 p.m. on December 21, in the area of Texas 195 and Chaparral Road.

Police said Patrick Stephens, 21, was turning left on Texas 195 off of Chaparral Road at a green light in his Hyundai Elantra when a northbound Nissan Armada ran the red light and hit him.

Stephens was declared dead at the scene. His passenger was taken to the Carl R. Darnall Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The driver and two passengers of the Nissan sustained minor injuries.

An investigation is underway.
