1 Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Barker Cypress Road at Katy Freeway

Houston, Texas (August 12, 2019) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by a vehicle Monday morning in west Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 5:30 a.m. on Barker Cypress Road and S. Park View Drive, north of I-10.

Police said a pedestrian was hit for unknown reasons by a Silverado pickup truck.

The pedestrian was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
