Vincent Williams Killed in Iola Motorcycle Crash on FM 39

Iola, Texas – The man who was killed on Friday in a motorcycle accident in Iola has been identified as Vincent Williams, 56, of Waller, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 6:04 p.m., January 5, on FM 39.

DPS said a 2018 Dodge pickup was traveling northbound, turning into a private drive while a 2024 RPS Hawk motorcycle was traveling southbound.

The motorcycle, for an unknown reason, left the roadway and struck the Dodge in the private driveway.

The rider of the RPS Hawk, Williams, was taken to Baylor Scott and White – College Station, where he later died.

The Dodge driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
