One Killed in Jackson County Pedestrian Accident on Highway 59

Jackson County, Texas (December 1, 2022) – One person was killed Wednesday morning in a pedestrian accident in Jackson County, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened around 3:01 a.m., November 30, on Highway 59 near SH 530.

Officials said a pedestrian was walking northbound on the highway when they were struck by a vehicle.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.
