Firefighter Among Two Injured in Head-On Crash on FM 1485 in Montgomery County

Firefighter Among Two Seriously Injured in Montgomery County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 1485 at Lost Lake

Montgomery County, Texas (August 21, 2022) – According to officials, a Houston firefighter was among two people who were seriously injured Saturday morning in a head-on collision in Montgomery County.

The crash happened around 5:30 a.m., August 20, on FM 1485 at Lost Lake

Officials said a GMC pickup truck was traveling northbound when it crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a southbound vehicle that was being driven by the firefighter.

The GMC caught fire after the crash but was quickly extinguished.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

No other information was available.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
