Tatiana Wolff ID’d as Woman Killed in Troy Crash on SH-317 near Temple

Troy, Texas (July 11, 2019) – Authorities have identified the woman who was killed Monday in a two-vehicle crash in Troy.

Tatiana Wolff, of Moody died in the wreck that happened on SH-317, about 3.2 miles north of Temple on Monday, July 8.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Wolff was driving a 2007 Honda passenger car southbound when she drove onto the northbound side of the roadway in an attempt to pass another vehicle that was also traveling southbound.

The Honda drove directly into the Chevrolet’s pathway. Both vehicles collided head-on.

Wolff was taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries. She was the wife of Troy Sgt. Kim Wolff.

The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as Earl Johns, 37, of Moody sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was taken Baylor Scott & White Medical Center.

Clara Nail, 63, of Moody, who was a passenger in the Chevrolet was also transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center with incapacitating injuries.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
