Alberto Flores ID’d as Pedestrian Killed in San Antonio Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 281
San Antonio, Texas (February 2, 2020) – The man who was killed early Saturday morning in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio has been identified as Alberto Flores,23, according to officials.
The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. February 1, on Highway 281 near St. Mary’s Street.
Police said Flores was walking on southbound lanes of the highway when he was hit by a southbound pickup truck.
The truck also rear-ended another vehicle before hitting a guard barrier.
The pickup driver, described as a white male in a hoodie, fled the scene on foot. The authorities are actively looking for the suspect.
Flores was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle that was rear-ended was uninjured.
An investigation is underway.
