4 Injured in 4-Vehicle Crash on FM 1314 in Conroe

Four Injured in Conroe Four-Vehicle Crash on FM 1314 near Texas 242

Conroe, Texas (November 4, 2021) – Four people were injured Tuesday evening in a four-vehicle crash in Conroe, according to the police.

The crash happened shortly after 7:00 p.m., November 2, on FM 1314, south of Texas 242, across from the Thunder Gun Range.

Police said a 61-year-old man was driving a Jeep northbound when he crossed the center line and sideswiped a southbound Kia Soul, causing it to flip into a ditch.

The Jeep then went between a southbound Ford Edge and a Toyota Forerunner. It went airborne and landed atop the SUV.

The Toyota driver, a female, was trapped and had to be freed. She was taken to the hospital in serious condition. An infant in her car was in a car seat and was uninjured in the crash.

The Ford driver was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The Kia driver was taken to Methodist Hospital, The Woodlands, in stable condition.

The Jeep driver was found three hours later after the crash. He was lying alongside water some 200 yards into the woods and was taken to Memorial Hermann, The Woodlands, in stable condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
