Man Killed in Harris County Pedestrian Accident on Grand Parkway

Harris County, Texas (May 15, 2023) – A man was fatally hit by a car Saturday night in west Harris County, according to authorities.

The deadly accident happened around 11:42 p.m., May 13, in the 100 block of Grand Parkway South.

Authorities said a 2016 BMW was traveling southbound when it struck the man who was walking southbound outside of a crosswalk.

The BMW driver pulled over in the 24000 block of Bella Dolce Lane and called 911.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The driver showed no signs of impairment and cooperated with the investigators.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the crash.
