15-Year-Old Destany Saenz Killed in Southeast Fort Worth Pedestrian Accident on Martin Street

Fort Worth, Texas (May 20, 2020) – The teen skateboarder who was hit and killed by a vehicle Sunday night in Southeast Fort Worth has been identified as Destany Saenz, 15, of Fort Worth, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.

The deadly accident happened around 11:00 p.m. May 17, in the 5700 block of Martin Street.

Police said Saenz was skateboarding when she allegedly fell and was struck by a vehicle.

Saenz was killed in the accident.

No further details regarding the accident were provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
