52-Year-Old Man Killed in Dallas Construction Accident on Lakeland Drive near White Rock Lane

Dallas, Texas (January 9, 2020) – A 52-year-old man was killed in a construction accident Wednesday morning in Dallas, according to officials.

The accident happened on Wednesday, January 8, in the 1200 block of Lakeland Drive near White Rock Lane.

Officials said the man was moving a Ditch Witch type vehicle when he was struck by a cherry picker vehicle, pinning him between the construction equipment.

The victim was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been disclosed.

The Dallas Police Department’s Traffic Unit is investigating the accident.
