Multiple Injured in Cherokee County School Bus Crash on FM 1248 near CR 2114

Cherokee County, Texas – Multiple people were injured Tuesday morning in a school bus crash in Cherokee County, according to the authorities.

The crash happened on FM 1248, near CR 2114.

Authorities said the crash involved a Rusk ISD school bus and an SUV.

Eighteen students were on the bus at the time of the wreck. One child was taken to the emergency room as a precaution. Multiple injuries were reported.

The SUV driver was airlifted to a local medical center in unknown condition.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
