One Killed in Denton Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 35

Denton, Texas (March 14, 2021) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident early Sunday morning in Denton, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened at about 7:00 a.m. on Interstate 35E, near exit 472.

Officials said the accident involved a pedestrian, but they didn’t say how many vehicles were involved in the crash.

The pedestrian was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

The crash closed the interstate for several hours, and traffic was diverted at Milam Road.

Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.

An investigation is underway.
